The Big Island of Hawaii
A series of eight major islands and numerous smaller islets,
most people dream of visiting Hawaii at least once in their lifetime. Which so
much natural breathtaking beauty, beaches, volcanoes and activities available,
it’s no wonder it is still the top #1 Honeymoon destination. If you’re
considering a first time visit, or if you are planning a return to the islands,
make sure your itinerary includes a visit to the Big Island of Hawaii!

The observatory sits atop 13,796 feet above sea level, and boasts 13 telescopes representing 11 countries. The high altitude, lack of light and crisp clean air provides a perfect environment for some of the most spectacular star viewing in the world.
This island offers so much diversity and contrast. One
minute you are surrounded by black lava rock and an hour later you discover
lush green landscapes and waterfalls. How’s this for your day’s itinerary? You
can ski down the slopes of this majestic mountain in the morning and then wind
up swimming in the Pacific Ocean by afternoon.
Its beaches range from white, black or green sand. Swim with
manta rays in the sea and look for humpback whales along the coastline as they
migrate to the island from December thru May. It is all a wonder to behold if
you venture off to discover what the island has to offer.

And this is one island destination that is not overrun with
hotels. Protecting the pristine beauty of the island, only a select number of
hotels are allowed to be built here. But they sure do not lack in luxury and the many
comforts we all seek in a vacation or honeymoon are easily met. Ranging from family friendly hotels to some
of the most famous resorts in the world.
